How do you stick with low calorie food purposely?

With the Fitlife program and the way our program works, we doin’t have to count calories! And that is the best part of our program! We don’t have to count calories because we now fill our bodies with nutritionally dense food such as lots of veggies, especially green veggies and lean proteins.

I’ve hit  a plateau, how can I break through?

Plateaus are normal during any transformation process.  What got you from Point A to Point B may not necessarily get you all the way to your end goal.  So it means that you are going to have to change things up.  Sometimes that means adding in more activity, sometimes that means you’re going to have to change up what you’re eating.  For weight loss, in this program, we typically juice fast.  If you are juicing with apples, for examples, you might want to try leaving apples or any fruit out of your juices to shake things up a bit and get your metabolism moving again. Look at what you’ve been doing and then look at what you can change to break through the plateau.

I’m having a hard time getting started and remaining on track, any advice?

If you haven’t developed your Whydentity, start with that.  Why are you doing this, following this program? What brought you to this decision? Are you doing this for you? For your family? Your main reason has to be that you are doing this for YOU. You need to be a better you, so you can be a better you for everybody else.

What should I eat and how much strength and cardio training each week?

Our program focuses on whole food nutrition. You want to eat produce, lean proteins and healthy fats. You can have fruits but in limited amounts and preferably after a workout. We also recommend plenty of water, 80 to 120 ounces per day. We also recommend starting each day with a glass of warm lemon water to get the lymph moving and put you in an alkaline state to encourage fat loss.

What’s the difference between juicing and smoothies?

A juicer juices and leaves the pulp behind, giving you only the juice.  A blender blends but no matter how much it liquifies it, the pulp is still in there, making this a smoothie.  But if you are juice fasting, you only want the juice because you intentionally want to give your digestive system a rest.

Can I do this as a fast with no food?

Here at Fitlife we do not completely fast with no food. We do juice fasting which provides nutrients via the juice.  We also support the fast with protein powders and healthy fasts such as coconut oil, avocado, almond butter cashew butter and olives.

How much and what to consume to get more muscle mass?

If you’re looking to bulk up, you are not going to be doing a lot of juice fasting as that is meant to decrease body fat.  Include juices as a supplement. You will eat 3 meals and 2 snacks per day. The template for a male would be 3 hands of veggies, a palm and a half of protein and and a thumb serving of healthy fat at each meal.

What’s the best drink for weight loss?

Water!! 80 to 120 ounces of water per day.

How do I stay motivated?

Be with like-minded people in the membership, that is a good place to start. Coaches are always available and you can interact with other members going through the same thing you are.
